Lactation Support
Breastfeeding education starts during special sessions of our prenatal classes, with lactation consultants and educators helping expectant couples prepare. Private Consultations are offered as needed during your postpartum stay to further support the breastfeeding process.
Gestational Diabetes
Because patients with gestational diabetes face different challenges during their pregnancy, physicians may refer them for private instruction. These consultations teach specific skills designed to ensure optimal health for both mother and baby.
Educational Offerings
Trinity medical Center offers a variety of educational programs designed to help you learn more about pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare. Call 1-800-945-7997 for more information on our educational opportunities.
Come see our Birth Center
Although tours of our nursery, labor and delivery, and post-partum units are included in our childbirth classes, they are also available by appointment. To schedule a tour, call 1-800-945-7997.
One thing you will be acquainted with on your tour is our infant security system. A special device causes all doors to lock down and alerts our staff if any infant is carried close to, or beyond the entrance the Birth Center. We also use a tamperproof system that matches you and your baby throughout your stay. You can feel assured that your baby is safe and secure in our hospital.
A Special Program for MOMS
If you are currently covered under Medicaid or you believe that you are eligible to receive Medicaid benefits, the MOMS program maybe for you. In addition to the classes and services that we offer through our Birthing Center, the MOMS program provides free pregnancy testing, counseling during your pregnancy, physician referral services and scheduling assistance with doctor's appointments. A Medicaid eligibility representative is located on site to help you prepare the necessary paperwork to enroll in the program. No appointment is necessary. Please call 972-512-7272.
